This release ties up some loose ends from previous releases and is focused primarily on security. We also made various other bug-fixes and improvements.
For Users
New
- With this version, we will be fully supporting app-based authentication codes via the Authy app. Reach users who have downloaded the Authy app to their phone or computer, and linked it to their phone number, will no longer receive their login codes via SMS. They will also not be able to request the code be delivered via phone call. Instead, they will be prompted to enter the code generated in the Authy app as their Reach authorization code at login time. This is much more secure than simple SMS, and we strongly encourage that owners, admins, and users sign up for Authy and link the app to their phone number. You can download Authy here.
